• The journal Military Medicine publishes an article entitled "A Novel Application of Stellate Ganglion Block: Preliminary Observations for the Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder". This is a case series article detailing patients treated by stellate ganglion block, the first biologic treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. The study was coauthored by staff members from Advance Health Solutions (Maryam Navaie, Dr.P.H., Jessica C. Smith, M.P.H., and Leighla H. Sharghi, B.S.N., M.P.A.) and distinguished Health Professional Advisory Board members (Anita H. Hickey, M.D. and Eric T. Stedje-Larsen, M.D.) in collaboration with Eugene G. Lipov, M.D. and Kevin Burkhardt, B.S. from Advanced Pain Centers, S.C. in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
• Working in collaboration with Joseph Helms, M.D. from the Helms Medical Institute in Berkeley, California and Ali Safayan, M.D. from the Restorative Health Center for Integrative Medicine in Washington, DC, Maryam Navaie, Dr.P.H. and Anita H. Hickey, M.D. plan to present a talk entitled "Integration of Medical Acupuncture Education and Training in Civilian and Military Health Care Settings: A 30-Year Report" to the American Public Health Association 2012 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California.
• Becker's Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Management Review publishes an article in their print issue entitled "Uncovering the Chondrolysis Mystery: 7 Insights to Know" featuring Maryam Navaie, Dr.P.H. and orthopaedic surgeons from our Health Professional Advisory Board (Daniel J. Solomon, M.D. and Matthew T. Provencher, M.D.) in collaboration with other distinguished colleagues, Brian J. Cole, M.D., M.B.A. and Anthony A. Romeo, M.D. from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
